GM Event: The Great Egg Race

Greetings Flyffers =]

We have a treat for everyone... it's a new GM event that will be taking place next week. The name of the game is simple. When the time comes, gather together as one, as a server, to take down as many "Eggs" as possible. A GM will be making an announcement in game once the stage has been set, and you, the server, will have
30 minutes to devastate as many of these eggs as you can!

The number of eggs destroyed will determine how big of an EXP event your server will get for the following week! :/laugh:

Rewards
More than 10 Eggs = 2x EXP Event
More than 50 Eggs = 2.5x EXP Event
More than 100 Eggs = 3x EXP Event

Event Schedule
Yetti - Monday, September 17th, 2:30PM PST
Mocomochi - Tuesday, September 18th, 2:30PM PST
Tanuki - Wednesday, September 19th, 2:30PM PST
Lykan - Thursday, September 20th, 2:30PM PST
Kargo - Friday, September 21st, 2:30PM PST

Get ready for some fun C:!

I forgot about that o-o

Maybe I can go. I "have" a class then still, but it's a class that hasn't met at all yet. I think we might be meeting this week, but I'm not very sure :s

What I don't understand is the whining about the timezones for Europeans;
2:30 PM server time is 10:30 PM GMT (half past ten in the evening) for Europeans

CaitForum wrote:
ChriSter wrote:What about the different time zones? (GMT is the time used in England e.g.)

It's about 3 hours back as now.. so more or less when Europe players have to go sleep for work/school..

My latest class ends at 6 PM (GMt+1), never read class taking till 10 or 11 PM but sure

If anyone is screwed it's the American people who will be possibly working/at school and the Oceanian people who are sleeping or are just getting up.

If you are not sure what time zone difference your country has compared to California, check
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

Anyway, I find the idea really nice, I hope the eggs aren't too spread, so we can AoE hardcore xD

I'll try to be there on Kargo :/catface:

Well, it's not supposed to be easy. Did you want the eggs to be all 1 hitters?
This is for an exp event so we have to work hard and earn it. Bring on the free breakfast.

FORM PARTIES.
The egg, if it IS the Kalgas Statue, may be level 125 and have 17M HP, still only hits 1~1. Eight lower level characters in a party can take it out in 30 minutes.
Be sure to visit the Buff Pang before the event starts. For ASSIST Class people, provide others with buffs so they can kill it faster.
This event seems tailored to a cooperative effort. Be sure to show up a little early so parties can be ready as soon as the GMs release the eggs, HAVE FUN !! Who knows, you might meet someone you like.

* * * * * * *

For the Australian, European, et al, players: Set your computer clock to Pacific Time Zone, then compare computer time to your real time. This will tell you the time difference (+ or -) between you and Califonia. Don't forget the day.
Keep in mind that even though the announcement says the event will start at 2:30 PM PST, they may mean 2:30 PM Pacific DAYLIGHT Time. They often do this, so don't be surprised if the event starts an hour earlier than announced.

I have many friends from many parts of Europe and the timezoneis 6 hours ahead of me and im easter time, so if we talking about 2:30pm PST, thats 8:30pm for Europe people, i think its a fair time for all, remember that at 2:30pm during week is also school/work time for americans too.\

Other than that, great event Kooro

The difference is 9 hours with the Netherlands, so that makes it 11.30 pm for us here.
