Postby _ChriSter » Tue Jan 20, 2009 1:51 pm

Hey everyone. Since the other topic about this got closed due necro and was a little outdated, I'll give it a shot and make it new.

Assists

Image Heal
Lvl 15 skill with no prerequisites.
This skill can heal the HP of the caster or the target (not included monsters). At max lvl it heals a base of 550 HP. INT also affects it. The more INT you get, the more HP you can heal.
The formula is INT times 3 added upon the base HP.
You need a Stick to cast it.

Image Patience
Lvl 18 skill that need a lvl 3 Heal to be obtained.
This skill will give you a little HP boost and can be casted on the caster and others. At max lvl it will give you +210 HP extra.
You need a Stick to cast it.

Image Ressurection
Lvl 20 skill that need a lvl 4 Patience to be obtained.
This skill will bring a dead player back to life. When maxed, it also makes you lose less exp and gives you more HP back then when you go back to Town or get ressed by a lower lvl Ressurection.
You need a Stickto cast it and can only be cast on a dead player.

Image Circle Healing
Lvl 25 skill which need a lvl 4 Ressurection to be obtained.
This skill is a party skill and can only be used when the caster is in a party.
It's another form of Heal but then for more people at the same time. It heals less then the normal heal. At max lvl you will heal a base of 200 HP.
INT will also affect it. The formula is your INT times 3 that will add upon the base HP you can heal.

Image Prevention
Lvl 30 skill which need a lvl 4 Circle Healing to be obtained.
This skill can be considered as a second life and can be quite helpful. Downside is that it needs to be triggered. It will only trigger if you have less then 10% of your total HP. If you get hit higher for that, you are dead. If you get hit and you still have HP left that's in the 10%, it will trigger and give you HP back. At lvl 18/max lvl it will recover your HP 100%.
You need a Stick to cast it.
With the new V14 update, Prevention has a cooldown.
A lvl 1 Prevention has a cooldown of 8 minutes and at max lvl it has a cooldown of 3 minutes. The timer on Prevention is set at 10 minutes, doesn't matter how much INT you have.

This skill is a buff aswell as a fighting one. It can only be casted on the caster itself, but once it's activated for fighting, it really is quite useful.

Extra information
- Assist skills are maxed at lvl 20.
- Ringmaster skills are maxed at lvl 10, with the exception of Holycross and Gvur Tialla. Holycross is maxed at lvl 1 and Gvur Tialla is maxed at lvl 3.
- Billposter skills are maxed at lvl 10.
- Ringmaster need Bless Posters for some skills (which can be bought at the General NPC).
- Gvur Tialla, Spirit Fortune, Geburah Tiptreth and Merkaba Hanzelrusha needs a Bless Poster every time it's cast.
- Billposters need Skill Posters for some skills (which can be bought at the General NPC).
- Asmodeus, Baraqijal Esna, Bgvur Tialbold and Asalraalaikum needs a Skill Poster every time it's cast.
- Odd number lvl skills last one minute less then an even number lvl skill,
- Blue means it's a skill based on MP usage and green means it's a skill based on FP usage.
- Merkaba dmg will be decreased by 20% if there is an element on the weapon your holding.
- Asal is a FP skill but the dmg comes from a mixture. You need STR, MP and Attack Rate to do good dmg with it. However, Attack Rate will only affect it slighty, STR and MP are more important.
- Stonehand can be combined with the following skills: Vagrant skills, Straight Punch, Burst Crack, Power Fist, Piercing Serpent, Bgvur Tialbold and Asalraalaikum. If you use one of those skills, you also get a chance of stunning.
- Stonehand can also be used for 1vs1 (physical attacks), don't get fooled by that .
- Stonehand has got a different formula for it's buff time. It does not depend on it's lvl but on the amount of INT you have. The more INT, the longer it last. Lvl only affects the Stun rate.
- Burst Crack is another exception. A lvl 19 BC does the same amount of dmg then a lvl 20 BC.
- Assist skills can be used both by their second classes so long they have lvled the skill and got the right weapon to use.
- Heal will cast faster once the skill is getting higher.

For builds and what kind of skills they suit, you can visit sarisairis guide.

(Might have some typo's and might also could use some extra information for some).

I'm pretty sure they changed the thing with ressurection. It now gives more HP to the person you ressurect if it's higher level. But it does not restore more EXP.
But then again, maybe the changed it back?

Edit: almost forgot to say this, but awesome work :D should be put in the sticky :>

Looks good to me. All Assist and Ringmaster skills are perfectly accurate. Not too sure about BPs since mines a nub =D.

But all in all it is a very useful guide on the skills what you need for them and it it quite detailed with even the colored buff pictures. was going to recommend a breakdown of skill levels and the forumlas for them but the guide for this forum is outdated and needs to be checked since its v5-v6 timeline on skill information and much has changed since then.

As for its intended use. Perfect.

Fyi, I know a lot of people don't know this, but asal CAN sun the opponent if its not a one hit and you have stonehand on. Seeing as most people one hit things to begin with, they wouldn't add stonehand to asal, but it can and often does stun (12% stun at 19/20 like the rate itself is).

Stonehand works with Vagrant skills as well (Ringmaster's Sonic: action slot of Clean Hit followed by several Flurries).

He could say that Stonehand combos with normal attacks and all attack skills except for Merkaba Hanzelrusha and the damage over time effect of Blood Fist.

I know it, but most Asals are there to one hit you >.>

I've added this in, although vagrant skills aren't really Assists, RM's or BP's.

Something like, 'max only if you have extra points' would be fine, or 'max as soon as possible', etc.

Since you wrote that odd level skills dont last as long as even level skills, does that mean a lvl 19 stonehand doesnt last as long as a lvl 20?

That only applies to normal buffs. 3 minute base for odd, 4 minute base for even, 5 minute base for maxed. Stonehand lasts the same length of time regardless of level.
